Protection
We are committed to protecting the environment and
mitigating climate change, through the
implementation of initiatives and strategies that
allow us to reduce our operations’ environmental
footprint.
Since 2016 we have implemented measures so Megacable
becomes a completely paperless company. For example,
this year we managed to reduce approximately 30% of
the Company’s printouts by digitizing several human
resources procedures on our internal online
platform. Simultaneously, we developed digital
channels that replace the physical delivery of
account statements to our subscribers.
We carried out a recycling campaign, collecting 2,677 kg of paper, which is equivalent to saving more than 45 trees.
Additionally, starting in 2021, we began replacing conventional light bulbs in all of Megacable’s facilities with energy-saving light bulbs. We installed 15,754 LED lights in 509 sites, reducing our energy consumption and environmental footprint.
